Presets can be used to save your favorite light configurations to apply later.
You can compare them to "scenes" features preset in some other smart devices.
There are 24 preset "save slots", 16 of them are available in the mobile UI.
**Classic UI:** You can access the preset feature with the heart icon.
Just select a color and effect you like, then select the slot you want to save to with the left and right arrow buttons or the text field. Press the _down arrow button_ to save. Now you can later select that same save slot and press the _checkmark icon_ to restore your saved preset. When restoring, you can choose whether to restore brightness/colors/effects or only some of these aspects.
**Mobile UI:** The number button from 1-16 are the different save slots. Find a config you like, then toggle "Edit Presets" on and click on a number to save the preset to that slot. If "Edit Presets" is toggled off, you can restore presets with a single click.
### Preset cycle
With this feature, you can create an animation by automatically swapping between presets within a specified range.
Keep in mind that any changes you make to effects/colors will be overriden once the system applies the next preset.
By default, presets don't apply brightness, only color and effects. You can toggle on brightness by ticking that checkbox in the _classic UI_, restoring a preset, and then going to LED settings and tick "Save current preset cycle configuration as boot default"
